A legal disclaimer

By booking an appointment with Alven Beauty Salon, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Appointments and Booking

  • Booking Procedure: Appointments can be booked online through our website, by phone or in person at the salon.

  • Required Information: Clients must provide accurate contact information (full name, phone number, email address) at the time of booking.

  • Confirmation: Your appointment is not secured until you receive a formal confirmation from the salon (via email or SMS).

  • Consultation: A brief consultation may be required before certain extensive services (like specialty braids) to confirm the style, pricing, and hair health. 

2. Deposits and Payments

  • Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable booking deposit of $30 of the service cost is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be deducted from your total balance on the day of your service.

  • Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Debit Cards, EFT, Cash app payments. All services must be paid for in full at the time of service completion.

  • Pricing: All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but the price confirmed at booking will be honored unless the service scope changes. 

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Notice Period: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty.

  • Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than the required notice period will result in a charge equal to [Insert Percentage/Amount, e.g., 50%] of the booked service cost. The booking deposit will be forfeited.

  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up for your appointment without any prior notice, you will be charged [Insert Percentage, e.g., 100%] of the total service cost. Clients who repeatedly no-show may be blocked from future online bookings.

  • Transferring Deposits: If you reschedule within the permitted notice period, your deposit can be transferred to the new appointment date. 

4. Late Arrivals

  • Grace Period: We offer a grace period of [Insert Minutes, e.g., 10 or 15] minutes.

  • Service Adjustment: If you arrive more than the grace period late, we may not be able to complete the full service in the remaining time, but the full-service price will still apply.

  • Rescheduling: Arriving significantly late (e.g., 30 minutes) may be treated as a no-show, and you may be required to reschedule the entire appointment, forfeiting your deposit and incurring potential fees. 

5. Salon Etiquette and Other Policies

  • Preparation: Clients are expected to arrive with their hair washed, dried, and detangled unless a specific hair prep service has been booked in advance.

  • Children/Guests: For safety and relaxation of all clients, please limit accompanying guests. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • Hygiene: We maintain the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or scalp conditions prior to your appointment.

  • Refunds: We do not offer monetary refunds for services rendered. If you are unsatisfied with your service, you must notify us before leaving the salon, and we will make reasonable adjustments within a 7-day period.

  • Personal Items: Please ensure you retrieve all personal belongings before leaving. Alven Beauty Salon is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items. 

By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
